CONCLUSIONS FROM THE 2006 PSSA::
- In the State generaly, 19% of Students, after 11 years of Public School Education, are Functionally Illiterate and 30% cannot do basic Math,
- For those Students in the 11th Grade at West York High School, 15% are Functionally Illiterate, and 27% cannot do basic Math,
- For those Students in the 11th Grade at York City High School (Wm Penn High School), 51% are Functionally Illiterate and 66% cannot do basic Math, and
- For those Students in the 11th Grade at York Sururban High School, 9% are Functionally Illiterate and 11% cannot do basic Math.
